I actually took another day off today. I was able to get DB to the dentist, go to breakfast with JD, send an email to the "he just left" guy, and start a wonderful dinner that I am going to enjoy with my kid. We are having barbecue chicken, garlic mashed potatoes, candied carrots, and homemade sweet rolls. All made by me. Oh, how I love to cook. It brings back such good memories. I wish I could cook every day. It's fun to know that people anticipate your cooking. My kid keeps asking me, "Is it ready yet, Mom?". It makes you feel good. Well, I am between cooking and watching an episode of Rachel Ray's 30 minute meals. I will be back after dinner and evening studying. yum yum

You've got to come down to Alabama so I can make my grandmother's recipe of macaroni and cheese. It's delicious!

I love to cook as well. I can cook you a mean batch of homemade biscuits. Just add butter and yum!!!!

Glad you are enjoying some time with your son. Reading such things makes me feel all warm inside and happy. I am happy when you are happy.

I feel guilty. My kids had Subway last night and tonight "Taco Tuesday" from Rosa's a fast food mexican restruant we have in Texas. I just have not had the energy to be a good mom lately.

Aha! Candied carrots? Garlic mashed potatoes? RECIPE RECIPE!

Aha nothing like a good homemade meal, the aroma and the table setting and all.

Someday, come home for a Gujarati meal-with rotli and all- we're great foodies.
