I made homemade chili rellenos late last night. I am enjoying them tonight. Whew! Turned out pretty good!

Just got back from Josh's nephew's 4th birthday party. The kid had a million transformers. Not to brag, but I loved the gift we got him. It was an Optimus Prime helmet that the kid could put on. When he talked, he sounded like the robot. Who's the coolest aunt and uncle! Oh yeah!

Ya know, I think you're right, we are similiar. It's probably why I like reading your blog. I see myself in you a lot. Especially when you write about your job. Retail is hard, even when you're good at your job. And being in management is stressful as well.

When you write about your kid, there's an underlying love there for him, and I love catching it... because it reminds me of me. What you wrote is almost like me, except I have the ex husband and the baby daddy. At least the husband is gone and I no longer have to deal with the abuse and complete sadness. I'm gonna move on up just like you!!

That does sound like a great birthday gift. It's fun being the aunt...you can spoil them, then leave.:)
