Back To Normal

Well, I guess you could say things will get back to normal. I have so much reading to do. Luckily, I don't have to be at work today until after lunch and I only have to work a couple of hours. Then, I am off tomorrow! WooHoo!

I made myself an omelet this morning with sliced button mushrooms, chives, and shredded cheddar cheese. Yumm-O! The hazelnut coffee hit the spot as well. Ah, it's good to be back.

The walk-thru went extremely well. I got to meet some of Meloncutter's bosses. One v.p. in particular was a bald guy who was extremely interested in one of my departments. He explained to me that his division was getting a bistro that was similar and wanted to know my thoughts. I told him about all of the training that would need to happen and offered him to send his people my way when they get ready to open their own. So Melon, he was a pretty nice guy. Can't remember his name though. He was with his president.

Anyway, the visit went well. They spent most of their time in my departments, as this area is the powerhouse alley of the store. It was quite fun, but lots of hard work went into it.

Okay, so I better take off and start reading. It might actually take me two days to catch up.

Glad you're getting back to normal...and your omelet sounds so yummy! I always forget to make omelets at home, but I'm going to have to try yours.

did you really think it was nice? a friend, who is very well read, told me that it is very substandard. of course, i didn't tell him i wrote it.

tell me, what do you think it was about? is it dark, or does it give some kind of hope?

tell me if it gives anything at all.

Congratulations on a great walk through!

And please, could you define "normal"? ;-)

have fun reading!

Thanks, but on contrary, N? is about fear and a lack of confidence. It is about the pretense that comes about from fear. It ends in hope, but it is really wishing for an alternative.

Did you get something like that when you read it? Is it optimistic? Or is it reflecting a kind of defeat?

Have fun reading.

I'm at a point where I ran out of ideas for making dinner and lunch. I usually pack my lunch. I've been making the same thing over and over again. It has to be quick and easy to make and delicious.

Thanks.

So do you know Meloncutter? Do you know another blogger in real life? I'm glad you visited me today. I've missed you.

I knew I was missing something and even though I was pretty sure it was your comments on my blog even so I felt very blessed to get so many all at the same time. I'll try to answer your question in a post tonight. Glad your back! Although it's good for you to live in your physical surroundings I am selfishly relieved you came back to the virtual world.

Hey how big is your store? I don't remember seeing that, and every time you talk of it my imagination adds several square feet. It's getting to be a monstrosity!
