Cheese... Passion?

Have I ever told any of you about my passion for cheese? Not cutting cheese (sorry Meloncutter), but eating cheese. I love cheese. Cheese has so much history and culture behind it. I love learning about it and pairing it with some of my favorite fruits, bread, and crackers. I wish I wasn't allergic to alcohol because I would love trying cheese with wine. One day, I must tell you about some of my favorites and how I like to eat them.

Well, work has been just that. Monotonous, long, and boring work with the same people every day. The customers all look the same, the store associates all look the same. I am so sick of being in this store! I am branching out after this weekend. I can't wait to get back into my other stores.

The grand opening at this particular store was a huge success. We had competition from miles away checking us out. Good. Maybe they will stay away.

Okay, so I am off to read about your day!

I was surprised to hear that your work has been boring. I thought you'd be so caught up and busy with the grand opening. Since that's not so, I'm glad you'll be back to your other stores. There's nothing worse than being bored at work. Luckily, I'm never bored. Too busy for that.

I've never been much of a cheese-eater. I am bringing cheese (very sharp cheddar) and crackers to my book club meeting tomorrow. I didn't read the book! It's "The Other Boleyn Girl" and it was supposedly great.

How was your Saturday?

I don't do cheese too much either---but my family loves it. I know very little about it, so you SHOULD tell us all about it.

I am happy that your grand opening is now behind you and that you get to do a little more moving around.

I hope you have a great weekend!

Hi abbagirl!

Cheese... Love the stuff! Too much unfortunately. I was sick as a dog when I ate too much cheese on the night I proposed to my girlfriend...Shoulda stayed with the alcohol! LOL

I love cheese and could eat it with every meal. Cheddar is my favorite, with Swiss coming in as a strong second.

Sorry work has been so dreadful. Hopefully things will be looking up next week.

Here's what I know about you and cheese: Even though you're allergic to alcohol, you made a spot on recommendation for me back in July for that picnic with Mr. Hockey (the Crottin de Chavignol.) It was AWESOME cheese that I've bought once more for a party.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmm, cheese..although I've never had it with wine..I'll have to try it..
I like cheese with hard salami and buttery tasting crackers..I too have a difficult time eating it solo (like some of the other readers here)

Bet we'd enjoy the book club with Cheryl, huh?

I'm glad that although it's boring right now for you, work isn't too hectic...sort of helps make your ease into relaxation much easier..
have a fun trip!! 5days left!
Always,
Crusty~

I love cheese! Cheese and crackers is one of my favorite things ever. I once went to a party in Montreal and felt I was in heaven for all the different cheeses in front of me. Those Quebecers love their cheese too!
