All In One Day

I am up and at em this morning. I was going to get to work really early and thought to myself, WHY? I am not going to kill myself trying to get the impossible done.

The kid has his last vocal concert tonight. Can't wait. It should be really fun. He will be with me this weekend - Thank Goodness! We should have a great weekend.

I was off yesterday and it was totally uneventful. I slept in until 7, got up and took the kid to school. When I came back home, I played around on the computer, watched several shows I recorded on DVR, read through my Taste of Home magazine, picked up my new glasses, picked up the kid for his orthodontist appointment, came home and started cooking dinner.

I picked up my first pair of glasses! It's hard to get used to them. I only need them when I have to sit in the back of the meeting room and look at small numbers or words on the screen during meetings. I don't have to wear them all of the time. Thank goodness! I tried to wear them while I was driving yesterday and they made me dizzy with motion sickness. Ugh!

The kid will get his braces off on June 30. I think I am more excited then he is right now. Probably because he also has to have two fillings put in the two cavities the dentist found. Our dentist and orthodontist are two different guys, but they are both great!

The bathroom is still not complete. This is what happens when you rely on unreliable family to do the job. Josh's brother did not even show up yesterday. Great! The tile work needs to be made waterproof and the sink still needs to go in. I am tired of brushing my teeth in the kitchen.

Wow, I guess this enough rambling for a post. Catch you later...

My sister is getting siding done by our uncle....he's been here for 2 weeks and he's still not done.....it sucks. They are paying him and he just takes his time....but such is life....you know what they say about family and guest right? They all start to smell like fish after 3 days! Hope you are getting use to the glasses. I've been in glasses and/or contacts since I was 13....

Sounds like busy but restful day.

Having the kid graduate when you're under 40 will be just terrific.

Aww about the work.

Tell him to read your blog about you venting. If he has his own blog, everyone can post comments on his blog to do a good job. Online peer pressure may work.
