I have a list of things to do today. I still need to get the car washed, although it looks like rain. At least the inside of the car will look nice. I have to go by the Korean food store to pick up some Korean BBQ sauce, Party City for the lollipop sticks, and the grocery store to develop some pictures. It all has to be done today.
I still need to start packing. I have about three more loads of laundry to do. I need to load my car up tonight with all the cookware and get the kid's stuff lined out since he will be staying with his dad this weekend while I am gone.
I went over to my friend's house last night. Matt has been around for almost 10 years now. He's awesome. Anyway, I went over there to look at some photos he took with his nephews. I got to keep a few of them. On the way home, the kid called and asked me to make a pit stop to Dairy Queen. He wanted to try the new Brownie Batter blizzard. My kid loves Dairy Queen.

Hope you have a safe trip. If you get a chance and are driving across 80 on the very near east side of Iowa there is a truck stop around the 285 mile marker....not really sure since it's been awhile since I've been there but it's the Iowa I80 Truck Stop and it's claim to fame of being the "largest Truck Stop in America." If you get a chance to stop in and walk around for half an hour, it would be worth it. Be safe!
