Good morning! How are you doing today? I am so tired this morning. I worked from 4 am to 6:30 pm yesterday. Whatever happened to the good ole 9 to 5? Certainly, this does not exist anymore. My body hurts just a little. Oh well, that's the job sometimes.
Today I am visiting some of the stores we are taking over. One is close to downtown and could totally be a great store once we remodel. The area it is in has the urban feel to it. The other store is in an area where there are a lot of Hispanic and Asian clientele. We can certainly cater to that.
After that, I have to meet with my boss. He is suppose to go over some stuff with us. I am not sure what to think of this new boss, but I am always willing to give people a chance.
Josh and I went to a hockey game last night. I had to meet him there because I was running so late. We lost, of course, but there were three good fights toward the end. I missed those because I headed home early. I was so tired I don't remember anything about the game. The three periods flew by and I don't have a clue as to what happened.
Josh's BIL (brother-in-law) was there with his son. That kid loves my lime chiffon dessert. Every time I see him, he hugs me and tells me how much he loves the dessert. How cute. I only make it on special occasions, so he is excited for Easter dinner this year.
I am taking my time going in to work today. The body is in slow-mo. There is another hockey game tonight I am going to. I will try and update later, but if not, have a great day!

Do you at least get tomorrow off? I hope you do..and you get time to recharge. Do something nice for yourself.
And I am so jealous you are going to a second hockey game.
Take care
Tory
Hey girl!! Enjoy that hockey game. I've only been to one, and it was the Denver CO professional team...very fun to watch. maybe again someday!
Take some time and enjoy!!
Ya know, my longer hours now leave me drained. Getting to work about 8-8:15, and leaving at 5:15 now is taking some getting used to. Use to get off at 3:30 or 4:30 depending if you worked the drive up teller window.
The worst part is the boredom. It will take a while for our customers to know we're truly open til 5 now. As of right now, we only have 10-15 customers in the lobby from 3-5. We've all been bringing books to read because there's simply nothing to do.
You need a vacation! You work HARD!
You do have a demanding job. It's a good thing you love it. I hope you're off today. Do something fun!
Thanks for stopping by Em's blog. I'm not taking her saying she'd like to live with her dad the wrong way. I think she wants to be far from the ex-boyfriend. Because of where her dad lives, it won't be a possibility.
Oh girl, you work too much. But look who's talking, eh?
Have a good Sunday, are you watching the big game or working?
:)
FOUR am?
WHY?
Working 4 to 6, what a way to make a living....
People are definitely working harder and longer hours these days and have a lower quality of life than in previous generations. Except we have better hi-tech toys to play with.
