Rain On Me - What Happened To My Parade?

It has been raining all day. Right now we are going through a nice thunderstorm. Nothing too crazy, just a nice thunderstorm. I love days like these. Makes you want to curl up with a book and stay inside.

Work was weird today. I found out through the grapevine that someone is getting added into my zone to help me out a little bit. Now, normally I would be pissed because I would think the "suits" are thinking I can't handle it. But, with all that is going on and all of the remodels we have going on, I do need the help. I am only a little peeved. The reason is because they are trying to make a position for this person. She is stepping down from a management position and they don't want to use her as an "hourly associate". So, she is going to be doing some training in the zone. Problem is, the training she will be doing is something she couldn't even do in her own store. ??? Uh, yeah. Whatever.

Well, I need to go and start dinner. I hope the siding people actually show up with this thunderstorm. I will get back to all of you later on what we decide to do.

Dad is going to pay to have siding put on my new house as well. It needs a new face badly. I can't wait for it to get done.

Oh, I wish we could get some storms. We had dry weather lately and record high temperatures. Rain is supposed to be on the way this weekend though with storms. I can't wait!

Love ya,

Andrew

Yeah, help is nice, but in this scenario is sounds like she's a Leper and your the one that get's to befriend her until things work out.

Glad things are calming down for you a bit now.... Maybe you can catch up on everything. We had a surprise shrink and safety audit yesterday and I was the only department that didn't get kicked in the butt. Then the new store manager is going to give me an additional 20 hours over budget for driving cut fruit sales. All In All Things are going pretty good on my end of the store.

You take care and get rested and caught back up.

Later Y'all

I was wondering about the weather out your way. I know that the middle of the country has been hit hard by thunderstorms and tornados. I'm glad you're not talking about that.

Did the siders show up?
